The Cincinnati Amateur Boxing Club (CABC) run by Cincinnati Fitness & Boxing is a team environment for amateur boxers to train and compete.  There are two primary teams that are coached by the CABC coaches Jeff Perry and Kenny Christo.  The Cincinnati High School Boxing Team is open to students in grades 8-12 from any area school and the UC Boxing Club is open to University of Cincinnati students.  Both teams train together at Cincinnati Fitness & Boxing.  Team members are taught the fundamentals of boxing and are able to compete in local shows such as Golden Gloves, Junior Olympics, NCBA and USIBA collegiate events and others.

For the 2020-2021 season, the High School Boxing Team will begin practices on Monday, Oct 5 from 4:00-5:30pm at Cincinnati Fitness & Boxing (2929 Spring Grove Ave.)  Parents are welcome to attend to meet the coaches and get more information about the team. Practices will typically run every day Mon/Wed/Thu from 4:00-5:30pm.  For more specific dates & times please see the “Team Information” tab.  There are also opportunities to train and compete year-round.  For any questions or to get started, you can contact Coach Jeff Perry and Coach Kenny Christo by emailing cincinnatifitnessboxing@outlook.com.

For the UC Boxing Club, the team will begin conditioning at Nippert Stadium in mid-September and begin practices at Cincinnati Fitness & Boxing in October.  Specific dates will be announced soon and you can join the Facebook Group Page “UC Boxing Club” to stay up to date on important dates and information.  You can also email UC Boxing Club President Isabel Calogeras at calogeip@mail.uc.edu to be added to the GroupMe distribution list where team information is shared.
